Third generation coffee farmer, Gerardo Peñalva, and his son are involved in the coffee production process from seed to sale. Gerardo is dedicated to maintaining the social, agricultural, and familial integrity of his farm and producing some of the best coffee we have ever tasted.
At his farm in Marcala, Honduras, he specializes in small and carefully cultivated lots and sells some of his best offerings to De La Finca Coffee Importers which we were lucky enough to purchase.
Gerardo and his son continue their family’s legacy of sustainable and passion driven farming which has resulted in a naturally processed microlot that we are happy to add to our line up! This naturally processed coffee brews up a complex cup that reminds us of a fine wine packed with notes of cranberry and dark chocolate.
